I created a beat and this is how I made it, categorized into sections 1, 2and 3 based on three aspects; section 1 is melody, section 2 is drum pattern and section 3 is bassline or 808 as explained below:-
Section 1
Step 1.write down your own melody
Look, In case you did not know melody is one of my favorite parts. When you know the melody that you are building then the rest becomes easier, So It is recommended to write down your melody though it depends on which vibe you get first when you are about to make your beat. In most cases, Melody Structure is what differentiates one beat from another.
Down below I portrayed how I started making a beat by writing my melody. It is in Key Of D Minor.
Section 2
Step 2. Create a Clap and Snare pattern.
Add your clap combined with filler Snare to make it so hard and punchy.
Section 3.
Therefore the above are the steps to explain how to make a beat in FL studio. The following is the beat that I created combining the overall steps above.
Conclusion:
Making a beat is much easier, and achieving the best results requires combined day-to-day practices. I emphasize practice to become part of a beginner, things get easier as you continue to work on practical skills and eventually, you become the Pro . No Matter What you have stick to the plan and do what you want to do to make sure you living in your dreams though at first, it might seem difficult but gradually it is not as much as it is with time. You have to give it time.
