   To create a good drum pattern you need to understand what kind of genre you're trying to make first. Each genre has its specific sequence and structure For example when you're making trap music you should add a constant moving hi-hat as basic, clap or Snare between 2 and 4  or 8/8. Kick alternatively can be placed between 1 and 3 or after each of three sequences of intervals between the line in the FL studio drums pattern. Then add a bassline or 808 following the root of the kick pattern. Therefore from way, you can create any stylish you want.

 How do you have realistic-sounding drums in the FL studio?

To make any realistic-sounding drum pattern you need to do the following;

  create realistic samples. You should focus on creating more natural samples. For example, the Snare should be dry or wet but live one.

  Use the reverb Effect. For example, fruity reverb can add room to your drums to make them more realistic and give them enough room for each sample in space.

  Use parametric eq. Eq can be used to shape the samples to ensure each sample occupies its own space within a room and thus make it more realistic. To understand this you need to know the fundamental frequency range of each drum sample so you can cut or boost a specific frequency based on the sample you're using.
