How do you make melody chords?
CHORDS are Groups of notes (two or more ), that sound together harmonically.
Usually, they are played together at the same time.

The following are basic chords you will encounter while making beats especially hip-hop or trap music as well as Afro-beats

Major chords and minor chords, the difference between these two chords is the position of the middle note in the piano roll as follows:

Kindly note that the above are c5 chord but it can be applied as you go up or down the piano roll . For example the chord is named after the root note of the down chord the same apply to D major and minor F major and minor and so on.
How do you make melody chords?
To make melody chord start by try to find the bass note .Forexample from the above piano roll the bass note is C

Transpose chord
Try to transpose the melody to a scale you know know
This can be archived by shifting one or two notes of the chord to a second octave either below or down the chord.
